Boxing is often referred to as “The Sweet Science,” and with good reason. Though having far fewer tools than striking arts that involve kicking, and even fewer still than grappling arts like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing is still very much a complete martial art all on its own. With a seemingly simplistic arsenal of four punches - jab, cross, hook, and uppercut - it’s easy to overlook just how intricate and infinitely creative Boxing is. There are few disciplines that can teach footwork, timing, speed, range, and power like Boxing can. Not to mention, it’s an incredible weight-shedding workout!
